It has pre-wired MC4-style connections for easier and faster installations, as well as a pre-wired 1000VDC 4 Pole Circuit Breaker for circuit protection and isolation. And it all comes packaged in an industrial strength IP66 weatherproof enclosure.
Using a circuit protection device on DC strings can cause more trouble than it prevents. Incorrect wiring of DC circuit breakers can cause damage to an installation and even death. The PV Isolation Unit is a simple "plug-and-play" isolation and protection device for DC circuits with greatly minimises the chance of error.
