HUNTER PACIFIC TYPHOON 316 MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL FAN
The Typhoon 316 is a complete marine grade stainless steel fan. The 22 degree pitch of the blades combined with its large motor enables the Typhoon 316 to circulate optimum volumes of air.
Installing Location
The Typhoon 316 can be used both indoors and outdoors to allow continuity between living areas. It is suitable for raked ceilings up to 32 degrees.
Motor Housing
The Typhoon 316 is made from 316 grade stainless steel. This is also known as Marine grade stainless steel as it is often used in boat fittings or architectural panelling, railings and trim in coastal areas. The properties associated with this high grade stainless steel reduce the opportunity for pitting and corrosion on the finished products.
Motor
The Typhoon 316, 1220mm (48") and the 1320mm (52") ceiling fans have a 16 pole, 188mm x15mm motor, where as the 1420mm (56") has a 16 pole 188mm x 25mm motor. All Hunter Pacific fan motors use vacuum impregnated high-grade copper windings, silicon-steel stators and sealed bearings for long life and quiet operation. The wall controller in conjunction with the stator windings ensures optimum speeds for all conditions. With minimal motor movement and a cool operational temperature, this powerful motor is guaranteed lasting operation.
Blade Material
The blades are made from 316 grade stainless steel. The properties associated with this high grade stainless steel reduce the opportunity for pitting and corrosion on the finished products.
Blade Pitch
The Typhoon 316 ceiling fan has a genuine 22 degree pitch on the blade. The angle consists of 2 parts, the 17 degree on the primary blade and a further 5 degree on the trailing edge to increase the volume of air moved by the product.
