The Volt Safety FIRE-B-EV-96-HD-SB Heavy Duty EV Car Fire Blanket is an essential safety tool designed for electric and hybrid vehicle owners and standard combustion engine vehicles. This heavy-duty blanket measures 9m x 6m and is 0.75 mm thick, offering robust protection against vehicle fires.
Made from high silica composite material and coated with silicone on both sides, it is rated to withstand peak temperatures up to 1300°C/2372°F. The blanket features reinforced cross box stitch tabs and Aramid edge trimming for added strength and durability. It can be reused multiple times after proper inspection.
The included waterproof storage bag, which can be carried as a backpack or with carry handles, ensures easy portability. This fire blanket quickly isolates and limits oxygen to the fire, preventing the spread and containing smoke, toxic gas, and fumes.
