All products come with a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty
- Warranty starts from the Invoice Date
- Some suppliers offer in-home warranties and handle claims directly, so you won’t need to uninstall or return the product. Chat with us to check if your product qualifies.
- Sparky Direct isn’t responsible for losses caused by product failure.
- Warranties are void if products aren’t installed by a licensed electrician.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your order arrives damaged or is faulty, let us know within 24 hours.
- Sparky Direct will pay for return shipping via an emailed return label.
- If the fault is confirmed, we will send you a replacement item or provide a refund.

We can’t accept returns for:
- Items that have been installed, modified, or used
- Clearance, End of life, Discontinued, or special order items (unless faulty)

All Major Tech Meters sold through Sparky Direct are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you believe your meter is faulty or defective, you may request an assessment under this warranty policy.
How to Lodge a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim:

Return to Sparky Direct
Ship the meter back to Sparky Direct along with:
- A copy of your proof of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
- Your contact details
Please ensure the unit is securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

Forwarded for Assessment
Upon receiving your meter, we will forward it to Major Tech’s authorised service centre for inspection, testing, and calibration.
Assessment Process
Major Tech’s service lab will assess the returned unit to determine:
- Whether the fault is due to a manufacturer’s defect (covered under warranty), or
- If the issue is the result of user error or no fault is found.
Outcomes
- If approved under warranty: The product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
- If not covered under warranty: The lab may offer repair services, which will be quoted and billed directly to you by the service provider.

As Major Tech’s service labs are independent providers, Sparky Direct cannot govern or guarantee turnaround times or any costs incurred for repairs outside of warranty coverage.
