The Alpha CBH05 is a quick release bit holder set for 1/4 inch hex shank driver bits, supplied as five holders and one carabiner. The CBH05 is made from lightweight alloy and comes in a hangable carded pack. The carabiner latches to a belt loop, a tool belt or a shelf so the bits travel with the operator.
Driver bits scatter through the bottom of a tool bag, and the one required always surfaces last. Loose accessories also blunt against each other and against everything else in the pouch. Five quick change holders keep the working selection separated and identifiable, with every bit seated in an individual station. The carabiner hook relocates the entire group between a belt, a ladder rung and a bag without unpacking anything.
Time lost hunting for a PH2 across a day of fit-off accumulates faster than most sparkies would admit. Holding five bits on one carabiner means interchange happens at the working position rather than back at the bag. The quick change fitment releases and seats an accessory by hand, so no chuck key or pliers enter the operation. The lightweight alloy body keeps the assembly light enough on a belt that it remains on the belt.
The carabiner supplied with the CBH05 is rated for accessory storage only, and Alpha states it is not for climbing use, so it must never carry a person or a load. The holders accept 1/4 inch hex shank accessories only, which rules out round shank drills and SDS fitments. Bits themselves are not included with the set.
