        Cabac SMDW22-6TK | Glued Heat Shrink Medium Wall 22-6mm 1200mm Black

        Description:

        SMDW/STDW flexible heat shrinkable tubing is made from radiation crosslinked Polyolefin. Specially designed for insulating, protecting and sealing electrical connections and joints in medium and low-voltage cables, which was installed on splices and joints. It is also resistant to chemicals, UV, moisture and oils.

        The TK version of the tube has a hot melt glue liner that melts as the tube is shrunk and creates a strong bond between the cable jacket and the tube. The joint can then be directly buried or even submerged in water. The tubing can also be supplied unlined for insulation and mechanical protection.
