        Description:

        The MT940 is a handheld light meter that provides accurate display of light levels in terms of Foot Candle (FC) or LUX over a wide range. This versatile meter offers Peak Hold and Data Hold functions and can measure light up to 20,000 Lux or FC with an accuracy of 0.01Lux/FC. The light sensor is connected through an extension cable to the meter, providing fast measurements in multiple environments. The readings are displayed on a large and clear LCD display with range annunciations to assist the user. This is an essential tool for Designers or Quality Assurance Managers to troubleshoot or check lighting levels in a variety of situations from office to factory areas where health and safety is a requirement.

        How to Lodge a Warranty Claim

        To initiate a warranty claim:

        1. Return to Sparky Direct
          Ship the meter back to Sparky Direct along with:

          • A copy of your proof of purchase
          • A brief description of the issue
          • Your contact details

          Please ensure the unit is securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

        2. Forwarded for Assessment
          Upon receiving your meter, we will forward it to Major Tech’s authorised service centre for inspection, testing, and calibration.

        Assessment Process

        Major Tech’s service lab will assess the returned unit to determine:

        • Whether the fault is due to a manufacturer’s defect (covered under warranty), or
        • If the issue is the result of user error or no fault is found.

        Outcomes

        • If approved under warranty: The product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
        • If not covered under warranty: The lab may offer repair services, which will be quoted and billed directly to you by the service provider.

        Important Notes

        As Major Tech’s service labs are independent providers, Sparky Direct cannot govern or guarantee turnaround times or any costs incurred for repairs outside of warranty coverage.
