The Clipsal 40PBBP-VW is a momentary bell press push button switch mechanism rated 10 A at 230/240 V AC, supplied in Vivid White. The circuit is made only while the button is held, and breaks as soon as the button is released. The 40PBBP-VW has a 1/2-way switch function and is listed to AS/NZS 3133.
The 40PBBP-VW is a single push button mechanism, 22 mm square across the face with a matt actuator. It springs back on release, which is what separates a bell press from a standard light switch. The body runs 42 mm deep and mounts embedded in the wall, so the face sits flush once seated. It is rated to run at ambient temperatures from -3 to 50 degrees C.
Termination is by screw terminals, so each conductor lands under a screw at the back of the body. Fixing is by clipping locks, which hold the mechanism once it is seated. Compliance is settled at the point of supply, with the 40PBBP-VW listed to AS/NZS 3133.
