Reminder: Queensland introduced new smoke alarm legislation on 1 January 2022. Properties leased or sold in Queensland are required to be fitted with photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in all bedrooms, in hallways or between areas containing bedrooms, and on each storey of the dwelling.
