Do not install the 755LPSMA4 in kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, or garages — cooking steam, shower humidity, dust, and vehicle exhaust will trigger nuisance alarms on a photoelectric sensor. Clipsal recommends a heat alarm in those locations, and the 755LPSMA4 must be mounted at least 1 metre from air conditioner and heater vents, ceiling fans, and light fittings.
