    Here is a carpenter's pencil that retains its useful length and doesn't need sharpening; the push of a button advances the lead to the extent you need. The holster clips firmly to a belt or apron pocket and stays put when you withdraw the pencil.

    Supplied with one black HB lead. Refills are available to meet a variety of marking needs. HB leads come in a 12-pack of black or a mixed pack of eight black and four white (for better contrast on dark surfaces). Also available are a black HB water-resistant lead, a harder 2H lead for finer lines on dry lumber and a very hard 10H lead for marking stonework.
