The Kyoritsu 6010B is a 5-in-1 digital multifunction installation tester that performs continuity, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, RCD, and contact voltage (Uc) testing in one handheld instrument. The 6010B applies a 500V or 1000V DC insulation test voltage, reads insulation resistance to 200MΩ, and stores up to 300 measured results in built-in memory. It is designed to IEC 61010-1 (CAT III 300V) and IEC 61557, with an IP40 rating.
Verifying a new or altered installation calls for several checks: continuity of earthing and bonding, insulation resistance, loop impedance, and RCD trip times. Carrying a separate meter for each test adds cost and bulk to the kit. The 6010B brings continuity, insulation, loop, RCD and Uc testing into one instrument. A large dual display with backlight and bargraph keeps results readable in dim switchrooms.

The Kyoritsu 6010B is designed to IEC 61010-1 for CAT III 300V working and to IEC 61557 for installation test instruments. It carries an IP40 ingress rating, integral overload protection on the continuity and insulation circuits, and a live-circuit warning LED.
A 5-in-1 multifunction installation tester combines five verification tests in one instrument: continuity, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, RCD operation, and contact voltage (Uc). The 6010B performs all five, removing the need to carry separate single-function meters on site.
The 6010B provides 500V and 1000V DC insulation test voltages and measures insulation resistance across 20/200MΩ auto-ranging, with a rated test current above 1mA. Continuity testing runs on 20/200Ω ranges with a short-circuit current above 200mA.
RCD testing covers 10, 30, 100, 300 and 500mA at x1/2 and x1, plus a fast-trip mode (40ms), a DC test, and an auto ramp function. Wiring connection-check LEDs confirm correct loop and RCD connection before a test runs.
The 6010B stores up to 300 measured results in built-in memory. Results download to a PC using the optional 8212-USB adapter, with the KEW Report software to print or import readings into test reports and certificates.
The Kyoritsu 6010B is supplied with 7122B test leads, a KAMP10 IEC test lead with an Australian plug, a spare fuse, a cord case, a shoulder strap and pad, batteries, and an instruction manual. Optional extras include the 7133B distribution-board test leads and the 8212-USB adapter.
