No. The HNS420TM is a 2-wire device and cannot be used for fans, motors, or iron-core ballasts. These inductive loads require the Cabac 3-wire series (HNS440TM for 5A or HNS450TM for larger loads). Using the 2-wire timer on a motor will damage the unit.
Hold the button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes quickly. Press the button once for each hour of desired delay (1–24 times). For example, press 12 times for a 12-hour timeout. Programming mode automatically saves the new setting 10 seconds after the last button press.
