The Clipsal E3041-AW is a one gang light switch rated 10 A 250 V, built on the Clipsal Iconic platform with an Iconic Essence cover frame in Arctic White. The E3041-AW ships complete: switch grid, one rocker mechanism, pre-installed mounting screws and the Essence cover frame. The mechanism is a 1-pole 1/2-way type, so it wires as either a one way or a two way switch. The cover frame is birch timber with a matt surface finish and a birch edge.
Fit-off is where the finish of a room gets decided, and a flat white plate can undo a job that was otherwise done well. The E3041-AW puts a birch timber cover frame on a standard Iconic switch, so the visible part sits with timber joinery, door hardware and warm paint rather than against it. The frame is 8.5 mm deep, which keeps the finished face close to the wall. Nothing about the wiring changes.
The E3041-AW terminates and fits off the same way as any other Iconic switch. The mechanism rotates 90 degrees on the green fixing bar at the back, so one part covers both vertical and horizontal switch positions. Mounting screws come pre-installed, and a flap covers the screws and mounting holes once the plate is on the wall. The cover frame uses a clip-on fixing, so the finish can be changed later without disturbing the grid or the mechanism.
The E3041-AW is not weatherproof and carries no IP rating. Keep it out of outdoor and exposed positions, and away from shower and bath splash zones. The timber cover frame is specified for indoor ambient conditions only, so damp or unventilated rooms sit outside its rated humidity range.

A licensed electrician has to do the install. It is fixed wiring, so it is electrical work. The switch mounts flush to a standard wall box and the screws are already in the grid, so it fits off like any other Iconic switch once the wiring is landed.
Yes. The mechanism sits on a green fixing bar at the back of the grid. Release it, turn it 90 degrees and refit it, and the rocker then works in a horizontal position. The same part covers both orientations, so there is no separate horizontal model to order.
Yes. The mechanism is a 1-pole 1/2-way type. Wire it as a plain one way switch, or as one end of a two way pair for a hallway or a stairwell. You need a matching switch at the other end and a strapper run between the two positions.
