        Ledlenser | P7R 2000 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable LED Torch | IP68 Aluminium

        The Ledlenser P7R is a USB-C rechargeable LED torch with a maximum output of 2000 lumens and an IP68 rating. It runs on one 21700 Li-ion 3.6V battery, which is supplied, and the head focuses from a wide flood to a tight spot. The P7R is 159mm long and weighs 197g.

        A torch that goes flat mid-shift is worse than no torch at all. The P7R holds 2000 lumens on boost and steps down to 25 lumens. At that lowest setting runtime reaches 80 hours. A four-stage battery indicator shows what is left before the shift starts. The 21700 cell is replaceable, so a tired battery does not retire the torch.

        Ledlenser built the P7R around a Mode Select Ring behind the head. The ring reaches the light modes, the transport lock and the USB-C port without the torch leaving the hand. Close work such as checking a switchboard uses the low setting and a wide flood. The same torch throws 320 metres on boost when the job moves outside.

        The P7R is rated IP68 for dust and water. Ledlenser publishes no immersion depth or duration, so it is not a diving light. Ledlenser also publishes no ATEX or IECEx certification, so the torch must not be used in hazardous or explosive atmospheres. Charge it only between 0 and 40 degrees, and dry the USB-C port before connecting a cable.

        The 21700 Li-ion cell is user replaceable, and the user guide covers the swap. That matters on a torch kept in service for years, because a cell that no longer holds charge can be changed rather than replacing the whole torch. Use a genuine Ledlenser 21700 cell.

        No. Ledlenser publishes no ATEX or IECEx certification for the torch, so it must not be used in areas classified as hazardous. Gas work, fuel handling and classified confined spaces need a torch certified for that atmosphere.
