The Oriel Lighting OL60690-1500 Alpha 150 is a linear LED pendant, 1500mm long in hand finished ash timber. The OL60690-1500 draws 25W at 240V and puts out 2000 lumens from an integral LED, with no globe to fit. CTS technology lets the installing electrician set 3000K, 4000K or 5000K at the time of installation. The fitting is dimmable with most LED friendly dimmers, and each length of ash carries its own grain and knots.
A pendant over an island sits at eye level, so the finish gets looked at as much as the light. The Alpha 150 is hand finished ash, and the grain, knots and texture change from one fitting to the next. The bar is 1500mm long and puts out 2000 lumens, spreading light along the bench rather than one spot.
CTS technology means the colour temperature is set on the fitting at installation rather than fixed at manufacture. The 3000K, 4000K and 5000K options are selected once, so the choice is made with the cabinetry and benchtop in place. The LED is integral to the fitting, so there is no globe to supply or change.
