The Siemens PB-P-RED is a 22mm round push-button from the SIRIUS ACT range, with a flat red actuator and momentary action. The PB-P-RED is rated 500V AC or DC at 10A, carries one normally open contact, and terminates on screw terminals. It mounts through a 22.3mm panel cut-out and measures 29.45mm across the bezel by 40mm high.
A control panel button is operated thousands of times by people wearing gloves, in a hurry, and occasionally with the heel of a hand. The PB-P-RED is IP66, IP67 and IP69K on the front face only, once mounted through a panel. The terminal side is rated IP20, so the rear of the device must sit inside an enclosure and the button is not a standalone weatherproof switch. It carries one normally open contact, so an application needing a normally closed contact or a second circuit needs a different configuration.
