        Tracking, signature & insurance

        Tracking

        A tracking link is emailed at dispatch. You can track your order with Australia Post or Direct Freight Express using the provided links.

        Signature

        Parcels will be left at your selected shipping location unless provided with specific delivery instructions requiring a signature. Missed deliveries may require depot collection.

        Insurance

        Orders are not covered for loss or damage by default. You can select Shipping Protection insurance for only $4.39 at checkout, which covers damage, loss and theft during transit.

        • Extra charges may apply for bulky or heavy items, for deliveries via non-standard courier routes, or for shipments to remote areas, including WA, NT, TAS, and certain non-metro regions in VIC, SA, QLD, ACT, and NSW.
        • No shipping to P.O. Boxes if items exceed AusPost satchel limits
        • If a courier adds a surcharge we can't absorb, we'll contact you. If you choose not to proceed, your order will be fully refunded.

        Yes. We currently offer free standard shipping (valued at $15.95) when you spend $290.00 plus GST or more on Clipsal products in a single invoice.

        • Eligibility: Order must include $290.00 plus GST or more of Clipsal products on one invoice.
        • Automatic Application: The free shipping threshold is applied automatically at checkout.
        • Standard Delivery Rates: Flat-rate delivery starts at $15.95 when the threshold is not met.
        • Pick-up Option: Pick-up is always free from our Caboolture, Queensland distribution centre.

        Yes. You can choose Express ($19.95) or VIP Express Premium ($24.95).

        • VIP Express Premium orders are picked, packed, and shipped first.
        • If a VIP Express Premium order cannot be dispatched by the close of the next business day, your $24.95 shipping fee is refunded.
        • This VIP Express Premium order guarantee applies to items marked “In Stock” and excludes weekends and public holidays.

        You can track your order/parcel easily once it has been dispatched.

        If your order/parcel is lost or arrives damaged, we’ll work with you to resolve it quickly.

        • Lost Orders: Contact us if your tracking shows no movement or your order hasn’t arrived within the expected time. We’ll investigate with the courier.
        • Damaged Orders: If items arrive damaged, please notify us within 48 hours with photos of the damage.
        • Resolution: Depending on the situation, we’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.
        • Support: Our customer service team is here to assist and ensure the issue is handled promptly.

        Yes, place your order and choose the Pickup option. We will contact you once your order is ready for dispatch, saving you from waiting around. Upon picking up the order from the store, you will be asked to produce a driver's licence. The driver's licence number, your name, and signature will be recorded before the order is released.

        Yes, Click & Collect or pickup is available at 15 Alta Road, Caboolture 4510 QLD.
        Select the Pickup option at checkout and wait for your “Ready for Collection” SMS and email before arriving at the counter.

        If a product is on backorder, we’ll notify you promptly and provide an estimated restock date.
        You may receive split shipments, with in-stock items sent first and backordered products delivered later once they arrive from the supplier.
        If timing is critical, you can request a substitute product or cancel the backordered line and receive a full refund for the cancelled product.

        Delivery Authority 
        By default, all deliveries are sent with Authority to Leave (ATL). This means the parcel will be left unattended at your nominated address, and Sparky Direct cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage once it has been delivered.

        Signature on Delivery 
        If you prefer, you may request Signature Required in the delivery instructions at checkout. Please note that if no one is available to sign at the time of delivery, the courier may charge an additional fee for re-delivery. These charges, if applicable, are the customer's responsibility.

        Yes, we ship to Australia Post Parcel Lockers. No shipping to P.O. boxes if items exceed AusPost satchel limits.
        Bulky products and items classified as dangerous goods must be delivered to a street address, as per carrier restrictions.
        To avoid delays, please use the correct address type at checkout and avoid using P.O. boxes whenever possible.

        Weekend delivery is not guaranteed. Most couriers operate Monday to Friday only.
        Some metro courier networks may deliver on Saturdays, but this depends on the local depot and is not something we can guarantee.
        Orders shipped on Friday usually arrive early the following week.

        Yes. Sparky Direct ships Australia-wide, including regional and remote locations.
        Delivery timeframes vary by location: metro, 1 -2 business days; regional, 2 - 4 business days; and remote areas can take longer, depending on carrier coverage. Some isolated postcodes may have limited service, so please check before placing a time-critical order.

        Orders are processed within one business day. Express orders placed before 12:00 pm (QLD) are processed the same day.
