A switch grid is the backing plate that holds all the mechanisms in and gets installed to a structure, the grid plate has a specially designed locking mechanism to fit 40 series Clipsal iconic switches, data, dimmer, communication, timers, fan controllers and blue tooth devices.
These iconic grids have a special flap that once installed covers the screws, so that it is then safe for consumers to replace the skins (covers) with many varieties of styles and colours safely and quickly.
Pre installed screws make installing these switch plates a breeze for your electrician.
The Iconic switch grids do not come with skins (covers) or any mechanisms, these will need to be purchased seperately. Please make sure that you purchase the same amount of skins for grid plate and that you match up the gangs, for example if you have a 2 gang switch grid plate you will need to a 2 gang skin cover.
