An integrated LED illuminates automatically when the sensor detects movement in low light, then switches off on a configurable timer. The 3025NW is RCM certified, finished in Vivid White, and intended for indoor residential use.
The 3025NW suits hallways, bedrooms, and ensuites where occupants need to navigate after dark without operating a switch. It is a skin only component, so it depends on a Clipsal Iconic double power point installed behind it and cannot operate on its own. Calibrate the ambient light threshold once, and the sensor manages activation until the room is genuinely dark.
For those retrofitting a night light during a callback or renovation, the 3025NW is an efficient upgrade. Remove the existing Iconic plate, position the sensor skin, and adjust the level. The 3025NW is RCM certified, which is the regulatory compliance mark required for electrical products sold and installed in Australia. It mounts on a standard Clipsal Iconic double power point and adds a low-output LED night light without changing the socket's own ratings.
Anyone can install this. It pushes onto an existing Iconic double power point after the old cover is removed.
The 3025NW is a skin that pushes onto a Clipsal Iconic 3025VW double power point and will not work on its own. It does not fit Clipsal Classic, 2000, Saturn, or single-socket plates. The host Iconic double power point must already be installed in the wall.
In sensor mode the LED switches on only when motion is detected within about 2 metres, then turns off after a 2-minute timer. In night light mode it stays on as a constant low glow. An adjustable lux level stops it triggering during daylight.
Clipsal covers it with a 1-year warranty for both domestic and commercial use, starting from the invoice date. It is handled as a Clipsal in-home warranty, so a qualifying faulty unit can be assessed without you uninstalling and returning it first.
