Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician. The EY56C315 is surface mounted and wired through threaded conduit entries, 2 x M25 and 1 x M32, into screw terminals that accept 1.5 mm2 to 6 mm2 cable.
No protection is built into the outlet. The datasheet lists protection type as without protection, so earth leakage and overcurrent protection must be provided upstream at the switchboard by the installing electrician.
The socket takes three flat pin plugs to the Australian and New Zealand outlet standard, with the outlet rated 15 A at 250 V. Pin number is three and pin shape is flat.
