The 41E10PBSWM-VW uses a 3-wire configuration in Vivid White and needs a neutral at the switch position. Configuration and control run over Bluetooth Low Energy through the Wiser Room App on a smartphone. The mechanism complies with AS/NZS 60669.2.1 for safety and EMC, and AS/NZS 4268 for radio.
Multi-way switching in an existing house usually means pulling strapping wire between every switch position, which is rarely possible in a finished wall. The 41E10PBSWM-VW instead links switch positions over a low-voltage ControlLink run of up to 50 metres in total. A two-way retrofit can reuse the existing two-core cable between the old switch positions. Configuration is done on a phone rather than at the switchboard.
The mechanism drops into a standard Iconic grid on 84 mm mounting centres, so the plate, skin and fit-off match the rest of an Iconic job. Cover plates from the Iconic and Pro Series ranges both fit, which keeps the finish consistent across a house. On repeat work the Wiser Room App can copy settings between identical switches, which cuts configuration time on apartment blocks and multi-unit fit-offs. A minimum wall box depth of 70 mm is required for the 41E10PBSWM-VW. The mechanism clips into a standard Iconic grid on 84 mm Australian pattern mounting centres and mounts flush. Wiring is 3-wire, so a neutral must be present at the switch position. Installation is fixed wiring work for a licensed electrician.

A maximum of three primary mechanisms fit in one plate, and the load rating derates as they are added. One mechanism carries 10 A, two carry 7.5 A each, and three carry 6.5 A each. In a 3-gang plate the middle mechanism must face the opposite way to the other two.
