        Klein Tools | Compact Folding Torx Key Set 8-Key T9-T40 | Heat-Treated CR-V Steel

        The Klein Tools 70540T is an 8-key folding Torx key set covering T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, and T40. The 70540T carries heat-treated CR-V steel keys with square-cut ends and a black phosphate finish, held in a reinforced nylon handle measuring 116mm long. A #2 Phillips fastener on the outer body adjusts key tension.

        Torx fasteners appear throughout switchgear, enclosures, equipment panels, and appliance servicing, and a rounded T20 recess halts the job while an extraction method is located. Square-cut ends seat completely within the fastener recess instead of bearing against the corners, which is precisely where cam-out and rounding originate.

        Consolidating eight sizes into a single folding body means the entire common Torx range travels in a pocket rather than as individual keys migrating through a tool bag. The reinforced nylon handle provides a substantial grip surface to generate torque against, unlike a bare L-key. Adjustable key tension matters over the tool's service life: keys swinging loose are as frustrating as keys that resist single-handed deployment.
