Martec | Proton DC Ceiling Fan 1320mm 36W with 24W Tricolour LED | Matt White
The Martec MPDC1343W is a 1320mm (52 inch) ceiling fan with an integrated 24W tricolour LED light, driven by a 36W brushless DC motor and finished in matt white. The MPDC1343W carries four ABS blades set at a 12.5 degree pitch and runs on 220-240V a.c. at 50-60Hz. A wall control is supplied with the fan, which is fully reversible for summer and winter operation.
Where a bedroom or covered patio has only one ceiling point, the fan and the light have to share it. The MPDC1343W puts both on that point: up to 12,000m3/hr of air movement from a 36W brushless DC motor, plus up to 2500 lumens from the LED. The light switches between 3000K, 4000K and 5000K at the wall. Four ABS blades turn at up to 210 RPM, with the body sitting 325mm below the ceiling.
AS/NZS 60335-1 clause 7.12.2 requires a complete all-pole isolation switch in the fixed wiring, and Martec voids the warranty where the fan goes in without one. The wall control is supplied with the fan, though the wall plate is not. Fan and light must run on the same phase, and both circuits need isolating before any service work.

- All-ABS construction — body, canopy and blades are ABS, with a PMMA lens cover over the light.
- 20kg ceiling support required — the mounting structure must carry at least 20kg, fixed to solid bracing rather than plasterboard alone.

- Single ceiling points — the MPDC1343W puts fan and light on one point where the room has no separate light outlet.

- Covered patios and alfresco areas — rated for covered outdoor use, so it suits roofed entertaining spaces and verandahs.
- Mixed lighting schemes — the 3000K to 5000K switching lets one model match warm living areas and cooler kitchens on the same job.
- Flat and raked ceilings — the hangsure canopy handles ceiling slope up to 10 degrees without an accessory kit.

The MPDC1343W is rated for indoor and covered outdoor use only, so do not install it where it is open to rain, wind, dust or salt air. It is not suitable for corrugated, apex or metal grid ceilings, and a slope beyond 10 degrees needs an angle canopy kit. Keep blade clearance at 2.1m minimum above the floor and 300mm from walls.
