The Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-AP25VGKD2KIT is a reverse-cycle wall-mounted split system rated 2.5 kW cooling and 3.2 kW heating. The kit pairs the MSZ-AP25VGKD2 indoor unit with the MUZ-AP25VGD2 outdoor unit on R32 refrigerant. Wi-Fi is built into the indoor unit of the MSZ-AP25VGKD2KIT, so no separate adapter is needed.
At 2.5 kW cooling and 3.2 kW heating, the MSZ-AP25VGKD2KIT suits a bedroom, study or small office. Output modulates between 1.1 and 3.6 kW cooling and 1.3 to 5.0 kW heating. The zoned energy label gives it 5.5 stars cooling and 3 stars heating in the average zone, rising to 6 and 3.5 stars in the hot and cold zones. Indoor sound pressure starts at 19 dB(A) cooling and 18 dB(A) heating, up to 44 and 42 dB(A) at top fan speed.
Pipework is 6.35 mm liquid and 9.52 mm gas, with a 20 m maximum run and 12 m height difference. The outdoor unit is pre-charged with 0.7 kg of R32, and the circuit takes a 10 A breaker with 7.1 A maximum running current. Installation must be carried out by an appropriately licensed technician.
Carton sizes and weights

Combined gross weight is 48.6 kg and the outdoor carton is the longer at 940 mm. Check the vehicle or trailer takes both cartons before collecting. The outdoor unit must be transported and stored upright, as laying it on its side or top risks equipment damage. Until installation, the system must be kept in a clean, dry and pest free place to meet the warranty conditions.

The MSZ-AP25VGKD2KIT is not sized for open-plan living areas or whole-of-home duty at 2.5 kW cooling. Outdoor operation is limited to -10 to 46 deg C in cooling and -15 to 24 deg C in heating. Pipe runs beyond 20 m or a height difference over 12 m fall outside the published installation limits.
