The Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-AP42VGKD2KIT is a reverse-cycle wall-mounted split system rated 4.2 kW cooling and 5.4 kW heating. The kit pairs the MSZ-AP42VGKD2 indoor unit with the MUZ-AP42VGD2 outdoor unit on R32 refrigerant. Wi-Fi is built into the indoor unit of the MSZ-AP42VGKD2KIT, so no separate adapter is needed.
At 4.2 kW cooling and 5.4 kW heating, the MSZ-AP42VGKD2KIT suits a medium living area, a large bedroom or a combined kitchen and dining space. Output modulates between 0.9 and 4.8 kW cooling and 1.3 to 6.0 kW heating. The zoned energy label gives it 4 stars cooling in every zone, and 3.5 stars heating in the hot zone falling to 2.5 average and 2 cold. Indoor sound pressure runs from 26 to 46 dB(A) in both cooling and heating.
Pipework is 6.35 mm liquid and 9.52 mm gas, with a 20 m maximum run and 12 m height difference. The outdoor unit is pre-charged with 0.7 kg of R32, and maximum running current is 10 A. Installation must be carried out by an appropriately licensed technician.

Until installation, the system must be kept in a clean, dry and pest free place to meet the warranty conditions.
