        The NLS 20094 is not rated for exposed outdoor locations or any position where water can reach the body or driver from above.         The NLS 20094 fits a 200mm cut-out. The face measures 235mm across, so the trim covers the hole with margin either side. Body depth is 90mm, so the ceiling void needs to be clear of framing and services above the opening.

        Where a ceiling socket is already in place, the 20094 can be swapped over without a licensed electrician. Installing a new socket, running new cable, or altering the existing ceiling wiring is licensed electrical work and must be carried out by a licensed electrician.

        The colour is selected at the fitting, with 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6000K daylight available. Set it before the downlight goes up. Changing the setting afterwards means dropping the fitting back out of the ceiling, as there is no wall switch control.

        The 20094 puts out up to 2520 lumens at 120 degrees, roughly double a typical 13W downlight. That allows wider spacing on the ceiling grid and fewer fittings for the same light level, particularly on high or raked ceilings.

        The fitting runs on a dimmable driver. It needs a dimmer rated for LED loads, such as a trailing edge type, matched to the total connected wattage on the circuit. A dimmer intended for incandescent or halogen loads may flicker or limit the dimming range.

        The visible front face is rated against splash and moisture from below, which suits a protected bathroom or laundry ceiling. The body and driver above the ceiling carry no ingress rating, so the roof space must stay dry and the fitting is not for exposed outdoor positions.
