The TeSys D contactor is a device used for controlling motors. It has three poles. It is normally open (NO), meaning the circuits are not connected when the contactor is not energised. It is designed for motor control applications with a maximum current rating of 9A and a voltage rating of 690V in AC-3 mode (suitable for motor power of 4kW at 400V).
The contactor has a coil that operates on 415V AC power at 50/60Hz. It also has built-in auxiliary contacts, consisting of one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact. These auxiliary contacts are certified to provide reliable switching.
The connection to the contactor is made using screw clamp terminals, which provide secure and easy-to-use connections. The contactor is designed to handle high operating rates of up to 3600 cycles per hour and can operate in environments with temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. This ensures its reliability and durability in demanding applications.
The TeSys D contactor has a compact design with a width of 45mm, allowing for easy installation on a DIN rail or through screw fixing. It is certified to meet multiple international standards, including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine. It also complies with Green Premium standards and meets environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACh.
