A: To remove the downlight, start by gently pulling the trim (the outer edge) away from the ceiling. You'll find two spring clips holding it tight. While holding the trim down with one hand, use your other hand to push these spring clips towards the center of the downlight. This action loosens the grip on the ceiling material, making it easier to pull down. Keep easing the trim down until the whole light comes free. Finally, disconnect the downlight by unplugging it from its socket on the ceiling.
