Appears to be a good product

I purchased 6 of these alarms for a rental property to make it compliant with the rules coming into effect in Queensland in 2022. They came recommended by professionals and the brand reputation is good. Installation and pairing of the interconnected alarms was easy. I did encounter a problem with 2 of the alarms however in that the internal on/off switches fell off making the alarms useless as they are sealed units. Clipsal customer care was very helpful and arranged a very quick replacement of the faulty units by their local agent who also installed the new ones and tested the system. Clipsal (cust care and their tech dept) claimed they had not encountered this problem before however the agent who replaced them said he had seen it several times already, and had in fact had it happen to him during the installation process. Hopefully they will last the claimed 10 year lifespan.
