The Clipsal WHA120-RG is a surface-mounted weatherproof isolating switch rated 20 A at 250 V AC. The WHA120-RG switches a single pole, carries an IP66 protection rating, and holds an M80 motor rating. Outdoor plant needs a local isolation point that can be reached, locked and proved dead before work starts. Fitting an indoor-pattern switch outside invites water at the housing joint and around the conduit entries. The WHA120-RG seals its base and cover with a co-injection gasket and carries an IP66 protection rating. The housing is impact resistant, so it takes knocks on exposed walls and plant positions.

The WHA120-RG is built to AS 60529, AS/NZS 60947-3 and IEC 60669-1. Approval number S/1 applies under AS/NZS 3947-3. The housing carries an IP66 protection rating, which covers dust ingress and powerful water jets.
The WHA120-RG is a surface-mount device fixed by screws, so no recessed wall box is used. The base takes three 20 mm and four 25 mm conduit entries, plus a 25 mm rear knockout for cable coming straight through the wall behind it.
