FEATURES:
The WETCON™ provides a quick and easy permanent earth connection to steel reinforcing for wet areas such as showers, bathrooms, pools and spas. The connector is completely sealed and provides p protection against corrosion. Shear bolt technology ensures correct installation. Each connector is supplied with a pre-terminated 2-meter-long 6mm2 earth tail.
APPLICATION:
The reinforcing mesh can be cut in the wet area location, and the WETCON™ secured over one of the cut ends. This is achieved by tightening the shear bolt with the recommended spanner until it snaps off, ensuring the correct tension of the connection. Conduit can be used to further protect the 6mm2 p re-terminated earth, which needs to be situated to line up with the bottom plate or wall cavity location. At fit-off, the earth bond wire is then required to be connected to any part of the earthing system.
