The switch mechanism supports two-way switching, so one lighting point can be controlled from two positions such as either end of a hallway or stairwell. The same part wires as a one-way switch where only a single control position is needed.
The GEO Series plate is 6.5mm thick, against roughly 13mm on a standard-profile plate in the same brand's range. The plate is virgin polycarbonate in a geometric shape, available in white, black and matte black, with optional brushed brass and brushed aluminium cover plates.
The plate is moulded from virgin polycarbonate, which does not yellow or fade with age. Internal current-carrying parts are copper phosphorus bronze, and the switch contacts use a composite silver nickel coating to resist arcing through repeated operation.
