The Klein Tools 38611 is a 6-inch long nose locking plier measuring 187mm overall, with a 51mm jaw capacity and steel construction. The 38611 locks onto a workpiece and holds under load, adjusted by a thumb knob at the handle end and released by a lever-less mechanism. Handles carry a moulded TPE grip in orange and black.
Standard locking pliers have a jaw profile too broad to enter an enclosure, a stud bay, or the space behind a mounted fixture. The long nose jaw geometry tapers the working end so it reaches into those positions, and the 51mm jaw capacity still spans material a slim-nosed plier would not close around.
