The PSA Products CEN1KPWFPS is a Wi-Fi access control keypad supplied with a power supply, rated 12 to 18V DC and built for door and gate entry control. The CEN1KPWFPS reads PIN codes, fingerprints and proximity cards, and unlocks remotely through the PSA Centrii app on iOS or Android. The keypad is IP66 rated in a zinc-alloy anti-vandal housing measuring 148 x 43.5 x 22mm.
Keys walk off site, and rekeying a gate or a plant room after a staff change costs more than the lock did. A standalone keypad removes the key problem but usually leaves no audit trail and no remote revocation. The 988 user capacity covers a workforce rather than a household, and credentials are administered entirely from the app. Stored opening records identify which credential released the door and at what time.
An access control installation normally means a separate controller, a reader and a power supply competing for wall space. This keypad combines the reader, the controller and a single relay output in one 148mm plate, with the power supply included. Terminals cover exit button, alarm, door contact and Wiegand input and output, so the keypad operates independently or reports into an existing configuration. A 2 amp lock output and adjustable 0 to 99 second release time match the relay to the door hardware.
The CEN1KPWFPS connects on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so a network broadcasting 5GHz alone will not pair with the keypad. Lock switching is capped at a 2 amp output load through one relay, which rules out driving a heavier load directly. The keypad is rated from minus 30 to 60 degrees Celsius, so positions outside that band sit beyond the specification.

The keypad operates on 12 to 18V DC, and this SKU is supplied with a power supply. Idle current draw is under 60mA, rising to under 150mA when active. Installation of the supply side must be carried out by a licensed electrician where a fixed connection is involved.
The keypad carries an IP66 rating, which covers dust ingress and heavy water jets from any direction. The zinc-alloy anti-vandal housing suits an exposed position. Operating range is minus 30 to 60 degrees Celsius at up to 98 percent relative humidity, so most Australian outdoor locations sit inside the specification.
Output is a single relay with normally open, normally closed and common contacts, rated to a 2 amp lock output load. Release time adjusts from 0 to 99 seconds, factory set at 5 seconds. Confirm the lock's inrush and holding current stays inside the 2 amp limit before wiring.
Capacity runs to 100 fingerprint users plus 888 PIN or card users, with 10 visitor users and 2 panic users. Hardware capacity is 1000 users and app capacity is 500. PIN codes are 4 to 6 digits. The reader accepts EM and Mifare proximity cards.
Reader, controller and relay output are built into the one unit, so a standalone door or gate can run without a separate control panel. Users, codes and time restrictions are managed through the PSA Centrii app. A Wiegand interface is available where the unit needs to report to an existing head end.
Temporary passwords are issued as a one-time code or a period code with a defined validity window. Codes are created and deleted from the PSA Centrii app without visiting the keypad. Programmable time restrictions can also limit a permanent user to set hours rather than full-time access.
Wiegand input and output is supported from 26 to 44 bits, with additional bit formats on the Mifare card version. Terminals are also provided for an exit button, an alarm output and a door contact. Factory default is Wiegand 26 bits on the EM card version.
The Wi-Fi radio operates on the 2.4GHz band only. A router or access point broadcasting 5GHz alone will not pair with the keypad, so a 2.4GHz SSID needs to be available at the door. Signal strength at the mounting position should be checked before final fixing.
