The Rinnai HSNRTX35 is a reverse cycle inverter split system rated 3.5 kW cooling and 4.0 kW heating. The HSNRTX35 pairs the HINRTX35 indoor head with the HONRTX35 outdoor unit, charged with R32 refrigerant. Capacity figures follow AS/NZS 3823.2 testing, and the indoor unit carries built-in Wi-Fi.
A 3.5 kW unit sits between bedroom and living room duty, and that call is easy to get wrong. The HSNRTX35 covers 16 to 23 square metres under a 2.6 metre insulated ceiling. That span suits a large bedroom, a study or a mid-sized lounge. Inverter control holds the setpoint by varying compressor speed instead of cycling hard on and off. Dehumidifying mode pulls up to 1.7 litres an hour out of the room on humid summer running.
The HONRTX35 ships charged for 15 metres of pipe, takes 25 metres maximum, and allows 10 metres of vertical separation.
