The Rinnai HSNRTX25 is a reverse cycle inverter split system rated 2.5 kW cooling and 2.8 kW heating. The HSNRTX25 pairs the HINRTX25 indoor head, finished in matte white, with the HONRTX25 outdoor unit, charged with R32 refrigerant. Capacity figures follow AS/NZS 3823.2 testing, and the indoor unit carries built-in Wi-Fi.
The HSNRTX25 covers 11 to 17 square metres under a 2.6 metre insulated ceiling, which is a standard bedroom or study. Inverter control holds the setpoint by varying compressor speed instead of cycling hard on and off. Dehumidifying mode pulls up to 1.3 litres an hour out of the room on humid summer running.
The HONRTX25 comes pre-charged for 15 metres of pipe, supports a total run of 25 metres with refrigerant added beyond that, and allows 10 metres of vertical separation. Pair coil runs 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch, which is 6.35 mm on the liquid line and 9.52 mm on the gas line. Maximum input power is 2300 W with a 10.5 A current draw across cooling and heating. GoldGuard coil coating on the outdoor unit adds corrosion protection for coastal and harsh sites.
