The Rinnai HSNRTX80 is a reverse cycle inverter split system air conditioner rated at 7.6 kW cooling and 8.2 kW heating. It pairs the HINRTX80 indoor head, finished in matte white, with the HONRTX80 outdoor unit. The HSNRTX80 runs on R32 refrigerant with built-in Wi-Fi and voice control. Capacities are tested to AS/NZS 3823.2 with a 5 metre interconnecting pipe run.
The HSNRTX80 is rated for 36 to 53 square metres under a 2.6 metre insulated ceiling. Inverter control modulates cooling output between 3.03 and 8.23 kW, holding temperature rather than cycling between full output and off. Dehumidifying removes up to 3.4 litres per hour of moisture. Indoor sound pressure runs from 52.0 dB(A) on turbo down to 21.0 dB(A) on minimum fan.
The HSNRTX80 is pre-charged for 15 metres of pipe, with a maximum total run of 50 metres and 25 metres vertical separation. Pair coil is 1/4 inch and 5/8 inch (6.35 mm and 15.90 mm liquid and gas). Beyond 15 metres, add 12 grams of refrigerant per metre. Maximum input is 4050 W at 17.5 A, on a single-phase 220 to 240 V supply with a 25 A recommended circuit breaker.

- Outdoor unit — 750 x 1030 x 438 mm boxed, 47.2 kg gross and 43.8 kg bare.
The longest carton is 1155 mm, and the two boxes together weigh 64.3 kg. Check that the vehicle or trailer takes both cartons before collecting. The outdoor unit must stay upright in transit and cannot be laid on its side.
