The Thermogroup 112032T is a Thermonet underfloor heating kit covering 16 square metres, supplied with a 5220A programmable thermostat in Ice White. The 112032T mat measures 32 by 0.5 metres and draws 3200W at 13.33A on 240V. It is rated IP68 and installs under tile or in screed up to 50mm thick.
Floor heating is buried work: once the tiles are down, a damaged element means lifting the floor. The 112032T is a single ended mat with a 5m cold tail, so one cable returns to the thermostat. The element is TwistedTwin cable on self-adhesive mesh, and the mesh is cut to turn the mat, never the cable.
Three resistance tests are specified: before laying, after sticking down, and after the floor finish. Each result goes on the customer handover form, which the homeowner needs to register the lifetime warranty. The kit includes a 6025 mat alarm that sounds if the element is damaged during screeding or tiling.

Where to use
- Bathroom floors — the 112032T is safe under a tiled shower, helping dry the floor and reduce mould and grout discolouring.
- Screeded floors — suits sand and cement screeds from 20mm to 50mm thick, fixed over insulation board.
- Direct under tile — tiled over using a full bed of flexible tile adhesive rather than dot and dab.
- High heat loss rooms — the 200W per square metre output suits rooms prone to losing heat.
- Larger floor areas — the 112032T heats 16 square metres from a single mat and one thermostat.
The yellow heating cable must never be cut or shortened, as this alters the resistance and will burn out the element. Do not lay the 112032T under floor mounted fixtures or solid based furniture, and leave it unpowered for two weeks while the adhesive or screed cures. Nothing with a tog rating above 2.5 should sit on the finished floor.
