An 11kW charger operates alongside the oven, the air conditioning, and every other load on the same service. Without management, a full-rate charging session can drive the installation beyond the main switch rating on a winter evening. The EVH5A11N2C5 incorporates a dry contact input for dynamic energy management, allowing the charge rate to be moderated against household demand in real time. Combined with a peak controller, the charger continues operating rather than tripping the mains.
