        The Alpha SDSADP-SET4 is a four piece drilling set containing a 1/4in hex to SDS Plus adaptor and three SDS Plus masonry drill bits. The SDSADP-SET4 lets a corded or cordless drill with hammer action, or an impact driver, run SDS Plus shank bits without a dedicated rotary hammer. The three drills supplied are 2 head cut masonry bits in 5mm, 6mm, and 6.5mm, each 110mm overall length.

        Chasing a handful of anchor holes during a fit-off rarely justifies carrying a dedicated rotary hammer up a ladder. The cordless drill already on the belt handles the fixings, but an SDS Plus shank will not seat in a conventional keyless chuck. The SDSADP-SET4 resolves that compatibility gap with a 1/4in hex to SDS Plus adaptor and a quick release head. The host drill still needs hammer action for percussion into masonry.

        Carrying a single adaptor instead of a second machine reduces the equipment travelling to multi-storey fit-off jobs. The quick release head exchanges bits manually, so consecutive 5mm, 6mm, and 6.5mm penetrations proceed without a chuck key.
