        The Tesla AX22 is a clip-on auxiliary contact block carrying two normally open and two normally closed contacts. The AX22 mounts onto a contactor to add control contacts alongside the main switching poles. It belongs to the Tesla AX range of auxiliary contact blocks and ships individually packed.

        A contactor typically arrives with one auxiliary contact, or none at all. That covers a seal-in circuit and nothing further, which leaves an interlock, a run lamp and a PLC input competing for a single contact. The 2NO plus 2NC configuration supplies four independent contacts from one block, enough for a seal-in, an interlock and two indication or feedback functions. Ordering a block sized for the circuit avoids stacking multiple single blocks onto one contactor.

        Panel builders keep the AX22 on the shelf because it covers the awkward jobs a single contact cannot. Clip-on mounting attaches the block to the contactor by hand, so a control function gets added without rewiring the power circuit.
