The LOCKOUT-KIT-M complies with AS 4836 and AS 4024.1603. AS 4836 covers safe working on or near low voltage electrical installations. AS 4024.1603 covers the prevention of unexpected start-up during machinery isolation. Both are the standards commonly referenced in Australian lockout tagout procedures.
The kit lists 23 line items. Lockout devices cover six breaker styles, a universal plug lockout, an IEC plug lockout, a 2m cable lockout and a gate valve lockout. Also supplied: two hasps, four padlocks, five Out of Service tags, five Do Not Operate tags, cable ties, a 1000V screwdriver, a marker and the bag.
The bag is red heavy duty material with multiple compartments. Separate compartments hold tags, padlocks and breaker devices, so a missing item is visible before the kit leaves the yard. The bag is sized to carry the full 23 line items with room for extra devices.
