        The MT269 is a personal instrument designed to detect voltage from 100V AC to 69kV AC and alert users with bright LED indication and a loud audible buzzer sound, while approaching live equipment where dangerous voltage is present. The MT269 being a safety voltage detector is supplied in a pouch to typically be hung around the user’s neck and ensures the user stays a safe distance away from live equipment, and protects and safeguards users from approaching dangerous live high voltage equipment or cables.

        How to Lodge a Warranty Claim

        To initiate a warranty claim:

        1. Return to Sparky Direct
          Ship the meter back to Sparky Direct along with:

          • A copy of your proof of purchase
          • A brief description of the issue
          • Your contact details

          Please ensure the unit is securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

        2. Forwarded for Assessment
          Upon receiving your meter, we will forward it to Major Tech’s authorised service centre for inspection, testing, and calibration.

        Assessment Process

        Major Tech’s service lab will assess the returned unit to determine:

        • Whether the fault is due to a manufacturer’s defect (covered under warranty), or
        • If the issue is the result of user error or no fault is found.

        Outcomes

        • If approved under warranty: The product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
        • If not covered under warranty: The lab may offer repair services, which will be quoted and billed directly to you by the service provider.

        Important Notes

        As Major Tech’s service labs are independent providers, Sparky Direct cannot govern or guarantee turnaround times or any costs incurred for repairs outside of warranty coverage.
