        Description:

        The MT500 is a rugged, compact and easy-to-use Insulation and Continuity Tester. The instrument offers three insulation test ranges: 250V, 500V and 1000V, a 3Ω continuity range and a 500Ω resistance range. This meter is not only equipped with a “Live Circuit Warning” but also displays the actual AC voltage measurements of the mains supply. The scale has a backlight, which is ideal when working in a dimly lit environment.

        Description:

        The MT720 is a CAT III 600V, 4000 count True RMS 400A AC digital clamp meter with indication on a large backlit LCD display, providing fast sampling time with high accuracy. The meter measures 1000V AC/DC, temperature, frequency, capacitance and resistance measurements, plus 100ms Inrush current and Peak Voltage value. The VFD function allows the user to measure stable voltage in high-frequency applications of Variable Frequency Drives. Added features include Relative mode for Capacitance Zero and DCV, ACV and ACA offset adjustment, Non-Contact voltage detection, Data hold function and a built-in flashlight for dimly lit areas. Housed in a modern double moulded rubber housing.

        All Major Tech Meters sold through Sparky Direct are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you believe your meter is faulty or defective, you may request an assessment under this warranty policy.

        How to Lodge a Warranty Claim

        To initiate a warranty claim:

        1. Return to Sparky Direct
          Ship the meter back to Sparky Direct along with:

          • A copy of your proof of purchase
          • A brief description of the issue
          • Your contact details

          Please ensure the unit is securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

        2. Forwarded for Assessment
          Upon receiving your meter, we will forward it to Major Tech’s authorised service centre for inspection, testing, and calibration.

        Assessment Process

        Major Tech’s service lab will assess the returned unit to determine:

        • Whether the fault is due to a manufacturer’s defect (covered under warranty), or
        • If the issue is the result of user error or no fault is found.

        Outcomes

        • If approved under warranty: The product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
        • If not covered under warranty: The lab may offer repair services, which will be quoted and billed directly to you by the service provider.

        Important Notes

        As Major Tech’s service labs are independent providers, Sparky Direct cannot govern or guarantee turnaround times or any costs incurred for repairs outside of warranty coverage.
