The NLS SD-CUSTOM-TEXT-30509 is a single pole switch mechanism rated 10 A at 250 V AC, engraved with wording you supply. The base is a standard NLS 30509 mech in white, with the text cut into the dolly rather than printed. The SD-CUSTOM-TEXT-30509 clips into NLS plates and Clipsal 30 Series plates, and is supplied as a mechanism only.
A bank of identical white rockers gives no clue which switch runs the pump, the shed or the heat lamp. Engraving the wording into the dolly puts the circuit name on the switch face itself. Two lines of nine characters give room for a short circuit name, with spaces counted toward the nine. Because the text is cut into the dolly, it will not rub off at a position switched every day.
The engraved mech is the standard NLS 30509 base, so it terminates and fits off like any plain 30509. Because it drops into NLS and Clipsal 30 Series plates, the engraved position suits plate ranges already on the wall.
