The Schneider Electric A9D11210 is a two-pole RCBO rated 10A, with 30mA earth-leakage sensitivity and a C curve. The A9D11210 pairs Type A residual current detection with a thermal-magnetic trip unit in one four-module device. It carries a 10,000A breaking capacity at 230/240V AC and complies with AS/NZS 61009.1.
Earth-leakage protection fitted as a separate RCD takes a second device and the board space to hold it. The A9D11210 carries both functions in one four-module DIN rail device measuring 36mm across. Its Type A protection class responds to pulsating DC residual current as well as sinusoidal AC. The 30mA sensitivity trips instantaneously, with no intentional time delay on the earth-leakage path.
The A9D11210 clips onto standard DIN rail and is rated for isolation, so it can isolate the circuit it protects. ON/OFF locking facilities take a padlock up to 4mm shackle diameter. A contact position indicator shows the true position of the contacts at the toggle. Tightening torque is set at 3.5 N.m on the top terminals and 2 N.m on the bottom.
The A9D11210 is IP20 rated, which gives no protection against water ingress and no protection against dust. It is not rated for comb busbar or distribution block connection. Operating ambient runs from -15 to 60 degrees C, so it is not rated above 60 degrees C.

The A9D11210 complies with AS/NZS 61009.1, and is also built to IEC 61009-1 and IEC 61009-2-2. It is rated 230/240V AC at 50/60Hz, with a 10,000A breaking capacity and a rated service breaking capacity of 7,500A.
Mounting is clip-on to DIN rail. The device occupies four 9mm pitches, measuring 36mm wide, 110mm high and 75.5mm deep. The neutral position is on the left. Net weight is 332g.
Type A is the earth-leakage protection class. It covers sinusoidal AC residual current and pulsating DC residual current. Sensitivity is 30mA and the earth-leakage protection time delay is instantaneous. Residual current tripping is voltage dependent, so supply voltage must be present for the device to trip.
C curve describes the magnetic tripping characteristic for short-circuit current. The trip unit is thermal-magnetic: the thermal element handles overload and the magnetic element handles short circuit. Rated current is 10A at 50 degrees C ambient. Limitation class is 3.
Top screw clamp terminals take 1 to 25mm2 rigid or 1 to 16mm2 flexible. Bottom terminals take 1 to 16mm2 rigid or 1 to 10mm2 flexible, all without cable ends. Stripping length is 14mm top and 13mm bottom. Torque is 3.5 N.m top and 2 N.m bottom.
The contractual warranty period for the A9D11210 is 18 months. Rated endurance is 20,000 mechanical operations and 5,000 electrical operations. The device carries a contact position indicator and ON/OFF local signalling, so contact state can be checked at the toggle.
The device is rated as suitable for isolation and carries ON/OFF locking facilities. It accepts a padlock up to 4mm shackle diameter. Control is by toggle, with a contact position indicator showing the true position of the contacts.
The IP20 rating means installation inside a switchboard or enclosure. Ambient operating temperature runs from -15 to 60 degrees C, and storage from -40 to 85 degrees C. Comb busbar and distribution block connection is not supported.
