        Wago | TOPJOB S 2-Conductor Ground Terminal Block 6mm2 | 50 Pack

The Wago 2206-1207 is a two-conductor ground terminal block with a 6mm2 nominal cross-section, supplied in a pack of 50. The 2206-1207 accommodates 0.5 to 10mm2 copper conductors, mounts to DIN-35 rail at 7.5mm wide, and terminates through push-button CAGE CLAMP with an integrated test port. The insulating housing is green-yellow polyamide PA66.

Earth bars consume rail length rapidly once every circuit requires its own termination. At 7.5mm wide the block accommodates more positions across the same run than a comparable screw terminal. The 0.5 to 10mm2 range covers everything from control wiring through to a 10mm2 main earth on a single part number.

An earth connection that cannot be demonstrated becomes a problem at inspection. The integrated test port accepts a probe, so continuity is verified with conductors still terminated. Push-button CAGE CLAMP actuation maintains spring contact pressure rather than depending on a screw remaining torqued, and two jumper slots permit commoning across adjacent blocks using a push-in jumper bar.

        Features

        • 6mm2 nominal cross-section — accepting 0.5 to 10mm2 solid or fine-stranded copper, or 20 to 8 AWG.
        • Push-in termination limits — solid conductors push in from 1 to 10mm2, ferruled from 2.5 to 6mm2, with fine-stranded requiring the operating tool.
        • Push-button CAGE CLAMP — orange actuator, front-entry wiring, 13 to 15mm strip length.
        • Integrated test port — a probe point for continuity testing without disturbing the terminations.
        • Two jumper slots — push-in jumper bars common adjacent blocks across a run.
        • 7.5mm wide — 57.3mm high and 32.9mm deep from the upper edge of the DIN rail, at 18g per block.
        • Green-yellow PA66 housing — polyamide to UL94 V0 flammability class, material group I, fire load 0.196 MJ.
        • Minus 60 to plus 105 degrees C — continuous operating temperature across that full range.
        • Hazardous area approvals — ATEX, IECEx, AEx, CCC and EAC, covering Ex eb IIC Gb and Ex eb I Mb.
        • Marine and rail approvals — ABS, Bureau Veritas, DNV GL and Lloyds Register, plus EN 50155 and EN 61373 shock and vibration testing to 5g.
        • End plate required — Wago classifies an end and intermediate plate as a required accessory, ordered separately.
        • Protective earth only — a green-yellow block is for earth conductors and is not for active or neutral duty.

        Where to use

        • Switchboard earth bars — the 2206-1207 builds a DIN rail earth bar with a test point at every position.
        • Control panel earthing — protective earth terminations alongside control gear on shared rail.
        • Hazardous area assemblies — panels where ATEX or IECEx classification applies to the terminations.
        • Marine and offshore panels — installations requiring ABS, BV, DNV GL or Lloyds Register approval.
        • Rolling stock and rail equipment — assemblies tested to EN 50155 and EN 61373 for shock and vibration.
        • High-density earth runs — boards where 7.5mm per position materially reduces the rail length consumed.

The 2206-1207 is a green-yellow protective earth block and must not be used for active or neutral conductors. An end plate is a required accessory and is ordered separately, so allow for one at the end of each run. Wago publishes no rated current or nominal voltage for this block under IEC/EN 60947-7-2, so the earthing arrangement is sized by the installing electrician under AS/NZS 3000 rather than from a terminal rating.

        (2206-1207)

0.5 to 10mm2 solid or fine-stranded copper, which is 20 to 8 AWG. The 6mm2 figure in the product name is the nominal cross-section, not the maximum the block accepts.

Solid conductors from 1 to 10mm2 and ferruled conductors from 2.5 to 6mm2 push in directly. Fine-stranded conductors need the operating tool, as does removing any conductor.

Wago publishes no rated current, nominal voltage, or rated surge voltage for this block under IEC/EN 60947-7-2. The earthing arrangement is sized by the installing electrician rather than from a terminal rating.

7.5mm, with a height of 57.3mm and a depth of 32.9mm measured from the upper edge of the DIN rail. Each block weighs 18g.

Yes. The 2206-1207 has two jumper slots, and a push-in jumper bar bridges adjacent blocks. Insert the bar and push down until it reaches the backstop.

Yes. Wago classifies an end and intermediate plate as a required accessory for this block, ordered separately. Allow for one at the end of each terminal run.

Hazardous area approvals under ATEX, IECEx, AEx, CCC and EAC for Ex eb IIC Gb and Ex eb I Mb, plus marine approvals from ABS, Bureau Veritas, DNV GL and Lloyds Register, and EN 50155 rail testing.

Polyamide PA66, material group I, to UL94 V0 flammability class with a fire load of 0.196 MJ. Continuous operating temperature runs from minus 60 to plus 105 degrees C.
