The Rinnai HSNRT70B is a reverse cycle inverter split system rated 7.00kW cooling and 8.2kW heating, running on R32 refrigerant. The HSNRT70B pairs the HINRT70B indoor unit with the HONRT70B outdoor unit, both fed from a single phase 220 to 240V supply. Rated capacities are tested to AS/NZS 3823.2 with five metres of interconnecting pipe.
Sizing is the first call on any split system install. The HSNRT70B is rated for 35 to 47 square metres under a 2.6 metre insulated ceiling. Its cooling range of 1.8 to 7.5kW lets the inverter track the load instead of cycling the compressor on and off. Noise counts in bedrooms and living areas, and indoor sound pressure at one metre drops to 36 dB(A) on silent.
Pipe runs decide where the outdoor unit lands. The HSNRT70B carries a 30 metre maximum pipe length with the first 10 metres chargeless and 15 grams of R32 per metre beyond that. Supply is single phase 220 to 240V on a recommended 20A circuit breaker. If a fault shows up, the self-diagnosis function shuts the system down and puts an error code on the indoor display.
